About Ombre Brows

Ombre brows (also called powder brows) is a semi-permanent tattoo technique that deposits pigment in tiny dots to build a soft, gradient shape — lighter at the front of the brow, deeper at the tail. The result is a polished, makeup-like finish that stays put through workouts, swims, and 5am alarms.
Bri'Lasha consults on shape, color, and density before any pigment goes in. Every set is custom mapped to your face — we don't do stencil brows.
Expect one initial session + one perfecting visit at 6–8 weeks as the standard. Color refresh at 12–18 months keeps them looking fresh.

Aftercare
What to do at home.
Brows look the deepest at days 2–5, then soften as they heal. The final color settles by week 4. Follow these and your color stays true.
- Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours.
- Gently rinse with cool water + mild fragrance-free cleanser, twice daily, for 10 days.
- Apply the aftercare balm provided in your kit, lightly, 2–3 times daily.
- No swimming, sauna, sweating, or sun exposure for 10–14 days.
- Don't pick, scratch, or peel the healing layer — let it shed on its own.
- Sleep on your back as much as possible for the first week.
- Book your perfecting visit at 6–8 weeks — not earlier. If you go past 8 weeks, text Bri'Lasha a photo at week 8 so she can confirm whether a perfecting visit is still needed.
- At the 1-year mark — or any time your skin changes significantly (new medication, more sun, pregnancy) — text Bri'Lasha a photo for a color check.

You may not be a candidate if you:
- ⚠Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- ⚠Have active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, acne in brow area)
- ⚠Have a history of keloids or poor healing
- ⚠Are undergoing chemotherapy
- ⚠Have uncontrolled diabetes
- ⚠Are on Accutane (within the past 6–12 months)
- ⚠Have had recent Botox (within 2 weeks)
- ⚠Have previous permanent makeup (must be approved first)

Common questions.
How long do ombre brows last?
Forever — with routine color boosts. Most clients book a color refresh around the 1-year mark to keep saturation and shape fresh. Text Bri'Lasha a photo at the 1-year mark — or sooner if your skin changes (new medication, more sun, pregnancy) — for a color check. Without periodic refreshes, pigment will gradually fade over time.
Does it hurt?
Bri'Lasha uses a topical numbing protocol before and during the session, so it's well-tolerated. Sensitive areas (the front of the brow especially) are the most noticeable, but never unbearable.
Can I get ombre brows if I already have brow tattoos or microblading?

What's the healing timeline?
Days 1–3: brows look darker and bolder than the final result. Days 4–10: light flaking and lightening as the top layer sheds. Weeks 2–4: color softens and settles into the final tone. Week 6–8: perfecting visit to refine.
