Bri'Lasha Beauty Bar is committed to making our digital and in-studio experience welcoming and usable for everyone, including guests using assistive technology. We treat accessibility as ongoing work — not a one-time checklist.

Standards we follow

This website aims to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Those guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities — including limitations of vision, hearing, mobility, speech, photosensitivity, and cognitive ability.

What we've done

• Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>)
• Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
• Descriptive alt text on all images
• Logical heading order (one <h1> per page; no skipped levels)
• Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA contrast ratios
• Visible focus states on all interactive elements
• Mobile-responsive layout that works on screens 320px and wider
• ARIA labels on icon-only buttons
• No content that flashes at rates known to trigger seizures

What we're still working on

Accessibility is never finished. We are actively improving:

• Adding closed captions and transcripts to any video content
• Continuing to test with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
• Expanding keyboard-only navigation testing
• Reviewing third-party widgets (booking, chat) for accessibility compliance

In-studio accessibility

Our studio at 1130 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA welcomes guests with a wide range of needs. If you have a specific accommodation request — whether for mobility, sensory sensitivity, or anything else — please reach out before your appointment so we can prepare the space.
